MOZARF
Mozarf est un compositeur et beatmaker parisien.
Tout part de la danse. Adolescent, il évolue dans les Outsiderz, groupe de Krump d'Ermont. Pour personnaliser les entraînements, Mozarf se met à composer. Suscitant de la curiosité, sa musique commence à circuler dans les alentours puis à voyager. Et en 2013, à 21 ans, il décide finalement de se consacrer entièrement à la musique.
Il se construit d'abord au cœur de la culture dans des collaborations avec Grichka, Tight Eyez, figures fondatrices du Krump, puis en 2015, participe au Battle Beatmaker EBS à Düsseldorf, le plus grand rassemblement krump au monde, qu'il remportera haut la main. Une légitimité qui s'étend, sans avoir à la revendiquer.
À force de travail, et toujours en quête de nouvelles sonorités et de nouveaux challenges, Mozarf se rapproche également de la scène urbaine, il collabore en 2015 avec Niska, Gradur, une présence dans le rap français qui ne se démentira jamais.
2017 marque un autre cap. Clément Cogitore lui confie la bande-son des Indes Galantes à l'Opéra de Paris, projet inédit réunissant Krump et opéra baroque. La même année, il intègre le projet « I ART » de Marvin Gofin, ancien chorégraphe de Madonna, co-produit par Dr. Dre.
S'enchaînent alors la bande-son originale de Birth avec Grichka, première expérience de scoring qui lui donne le goût du cinéma, puis BLIND avec le Théâtre National de Bruxelles, la série Fugueuse pour TF1, Le Lac des Cygnes en collaboration franco-suisse.
En 2023, le documentaire Krump Get Off voit le jour, réalisé par Romain Cieutat, disponible sur Amazon Prime et Apple TV, dont il compose l'essentiel de la bande-son. Cette même année, il sort en solo MORFOLOGY MAJESTIC HYPE, l'un des albums les plus iconiques de la scène Krump et de sa discographie. La Foule, reprise du morceau iconique d'Édith Piaf réimaginée à sa façon, fait le tour du monde et s'impose comme une référence.
Parallèlement, la scène urbaine ne le quitte pas des yeux. Il produit pour Fresh, révélation de la première édition de La Nouvelle École sur Netflix, collabore avec Syrine Ventura, artiste pop-urbaine émergente, puis Benjamin Epps pour lequel il compose la majorité des titres des deux volumes de L'Enfant Sacré de Bellevue en 2025. Début 2026, il signe l'intro du nouvel album de Houdi.
En 2025, il s'associe à VL, artiste krumpeur suisse, pour l'album UNLEASHED RAWNESS porté par 99 Buck, titre central de l'album, qui traverse les scènes du monde entier et s'offre également un clip sur YouTube.
Une détermination sans frontières et une capacité rare à naviguer d'un univers à l'autre, c'est ce qui amène Mozarf, en 2024, à composer pour la cérémonie d'ouverture du Grand Prix de Spa-Francorchamps. Son travail acharné parle pour lui : on le recontacte pour signer la bande-son des 50 ans de l'ESA (Agence Spatiale Européenne), vingt-cinq minutes de composition cinématique et orchestrale pour un événement institutionnel international.
La musique de film, c'est l'évidence vers laquelle tout son parcours converge.
Mozarf is a Parisian composer and beatmaker.
It all starts with dance. As a teenager, he comes up through the Outsiderz, a Krump crew from Ermont. To give their training sessions a personal touch, Mozarf starts composing. His music sparks curiosity, begins to circulate around the neighborhood, then travels further afield. In 2013, at 21, he finally decides to devote himself entirely to music.
He first makes his name at the very heart of the culture, through collaborations with Grichka and Tight Eyez, founding figures of Krump. Then in 2015, he competes in the EBS Beatmaker Battle in Düsseldorf — the largest Krump gathering in the world — which he wins hands down. A legitimacy that keeps growing, without his ever having to claim it.
Through sheer hard work, and always in search of new sounds and new challenges, Mozarf also moves closer to the urban scene. In 2015 he collaborates with Niska and Gradur, beginning a presence in French rap that has never wavered since.
2017 marks another milestone. Clément Cogitore entrusts him with the score of Les Indes Galantes at the Paris Opera, a groundbreaking project uniting Krump and Baroque opera. That same year, he joins "I ART," the project of Marvin Gofin — Madonna's former choreographer — co-produced by Dr. Dre.
Next come the original score of Birth with Grichka — his first scoring experience, which gives him a taste for cinema — then BLIND with the National Theatre of Brussels, the series Fugueuse for TF1, and Swan Lake in a French-Swiss collaboration.
In 2023, the documentary Krump Get Off, directed by Romain Cieutat, is released on Amazon Prime and Apple TV, with Mozarf composing most of its soundtrack. That same year, he releases his solo album MORFOLOGY MAJESTIC HYPE, one of the most iconic albums of the Krump scene and of his discography. La Foule — his own reimagining of Édith Piaf's iconic song — travels around the world and establishes itself as a reference.
Meanwhile, the urban scene never loses sight of him. He produces for Fresh, breakout artist of the first season of Nouvelle École on Netflix, collaborates with Syrine Ventura, an emerging pop-urban artist, then Benjamin Epps, for whom he composes most of the tracks across both volumes of L'Enfant Sacré de Bellevue in 2025. In early 2026, he produces the intro to Houdi's new album.
In 2025, he teams up with VL, a Swiss Krump artist, for the album UNLEASHED RAWNESS, carried by 99 Buck — the album's centerpiece — which travels across stages worldwide and earns a music video on YouTube.
A borderless determination and a rare ability to move from one world to another: this is what leads Mozarf, in 2024, to compose for the opening ceremony of the Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix. His relentless work speaks for itself: he is brought back to write the soundtrack for the 50th anniversary of the ESA (European Space Agency) — twenty-five minutes of cinematic, orchestral composition for an international institutional event.
Film music is the obvious destination toward which his entire journey converges.
